Astronomical Wonders

A stitched panorama of seven vertical photos, showing a nearly 180 degree view of the western night sky, two hours after sunset, and shortly after the spring equinox on March 27th, 2017 near Royalton, Minnesota.

Among the wonders to behold in this photo is the fainter part of the Milky Way arcing over the scene, including dark nebulae & star dust, as well as zodiacal light along the ecliptic, many popular constellations, a couple galaxies including Andromeda, several open star clusters, the northern lights, and several of the brightest stars in the night sky, inlcuding Sirius.
