Sky Fire

Northern lights, also known as aurora borealis, streaking over a bur oak savanna near Buckman. Four-image stitched panorama.

I intended to visit the site on this calm, clear & cool morning to capture star trails, but after the moon set was rewarded with a relatively rare treat of strong aurora this far south.
