Preaching Pines
Canopy underside view of old growth red pine (Pinus resinosa) at "Preachers Grove" in Itasca State Park near Lake Alice, Minnesota. Such groves are extremely rare in today's northern forest landscapes. Might there be some lessons to learn if these ancient denizens could preach their wisdom?
